badbadzoot's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I like goo...... all over me baby! fffftttpppppppfffff. oooh, I've got gas. sorry. well, I had that ultrasound on my legs this morning (because I had swollen feet/ankles, remember? Oh how easily you forget, silly!!) ??? wasn't very exciting. The nurse and I were talking about how hard it is to take pictures of fat people's leg veins, cuz they are so fat. We were mean. She (the nurse) was telling me that her and her co-worker were making bets on if I was going to be fat or not and if I was fat- who was going to do the test!! Isn't that cruel? But it's so true. I'll have you know (if you haven't guessed already) I am not fat. I'm average for a 5'6" woman. I have a slight pudgy belly and fat thighs and wide hips (thanks mom...), but the rest of me is skinny. So the nurse was very relieved when she saw me. The nurse was fun, and nice, and overall it was a pleasant experience. If you like laying on a table half naked while a person slathers goo on your legs and mashes around a thick pen-like device all over your legs. Needless to say there is nothing wrong with my legs. No blood clots, nothing to worry about. My feet and ankles swelled up because... well just because they can I suppose. And will! The nurse said that sometimes valves or whatever in our veins won't work right and fluid can't circulate- hence swelling like a hot air balloon. Whatever. I just nodded my head and stared off into space. I do that when medical people are explaining stuff to me. And it's not like it's hard to understand, I just give up before I even try. QUITTERS ALWAYS WIN!!! In my book at least. POINT: My feet and ankles are not swollen anymore. REALLY IMPORTANT POINT: I may never see Dr. Cuteypants-Who-Is-Married again...... sigh. But now I've got more important fish to fry. My cell phone is broken and no one will fix it. bastards. I like saying bastards. see ya later............
